Rafael Benitez updates fans on Kenedy’s future at Newcastle

By on 9th May 2018

Rafael Benitez, the Newcastle United manager expressed doubts about Kenedy’s future as the player is all set to return to Chelsea after the end of the current season.

The Brazilian footballer has impressed everyone during his stint at Tyneside and Benitez has been very clear about his desire of retaining him at the club next season. The player joined Newcastle on loan from Chelsea earlier this year and has performed very well for the team.

People into football betting are actively punting on the possibility of him returning to Newcastle next season. Talking about football betting, as World Cup is around the corner, World Cup bets are also in great demand these days, and it’s just the right time to get in on the action!

Here’s the take of some experts on who will go all the way and win the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018.

Uncertain future

Coming back to Kenedy, while there is a chance that he could be involved in the Chelsea’s first-team next season, no one can say anything about his future with certainty until it’s decided who’d be managing things at Stamford Bridge next season.

If there is any chance that the player is offered on loan once again Newcastle would go all the way to grab him. They claim to be just the right team to help him continue improving his game.

Move to Newcastle an overall success

Talking to the press Benitez said, “It’s too early because Chelsea need to decide what they do in terms of a squad. When they decide what that is we will know. I am sure Kenedy is a player that they will consider. But they have so many good players they may see him as an option for the boy to go on loan for another year. Where could a good place for him be? Newcastle. And for sure that could be a good chance for him and us.”

Although Kenedy won’t be around and playing against his parent club on May 13, when both the teams play each other at St James Park, the 22 year old has said that his loan move to Newcastle has been a huge success for both him as well as the club. He further expressed that he needed that move because he wanted more minutes on the field, and grow his potential as a player.

He seems quite excited right now because he and his teammates are all playing very well. They’ve been helping him and everyone has been helping each other in the team. Other than that, the team has been working extra hard to reach as high as possible on the leader board. He expressed gratitude to the club by stating that he’s really glad to be here and they’ve helped him a lot to get better.

Kenedy has found a liking for the Newcastle city as well, and now considers himself a fan of the Newcastle fans. He said that whenever he gets on to the pitch and looks at the fans, he thinks that there’s no way he can disappoint them, and always gives his 100%.
