[Video] Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s Incredible Miss

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting produced of one of the worst misses in the history of football as Paris St-Germain missed out on the chance to seal the 2018-19 Ligue 1 title against Strasbourg on Sunday 7 April 2019.

Christopher Nkunku’s shot was going in until teammate Choupo-Moting needlessly touched the ball on the line and stabbed it onto the post and away from goal.

The Cameroonian international had actually given PSG a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute but following his miss the visitors to the Parc des Princes scored twice to lead 2-1 at half-time. Substitute Thilo Kehrer headed home in the final 10 minutes.

PSG maintained their 20-point lead over Lille in second place, who have seven games remaining. Thomas Tuchel’s side can claim their third successive title by beating their nearest challengers next weekend.
