FC Porto moved back to the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga with a comfortable 3-0 win in front of less than 6,000 supporters against Portimonense at the Estádio Municipal de Portimao on Saturday.

Yacine Brahimi opened the scoring inside the opening 15 minutes with a cool finish from 18 yards following Moussa Marega’s cutback in a game that the visitors were always in control of.

Though it wouldn’t be until the 73rd minute that FC Porto doubled their lead through Marega. The Malian finished first time past the onrushing goalkeeper after an excellently-timed run. Hector Herrera completed the scoring in the third minute of stoppage time.

Benfica have the opportunity to go back to the top of the pile on goal difference by beating Vitoria Setubal as their game in hand on Sunday.

FC Porto host Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night with the English Premier League side 2-0 up on aggregate from the first leg at Anfield last week.
